Edna Kaplan, President
Edna brings over 25 years of experience in healthcare, medical and life sciences public relations and management to the team. She has worked with established and emerging healthcare and life sciences clients including Hewlett-Packard Medical Products Group; Exeter and St. Elizabeth’s Hospitals; Harvard School of Public Health; Medivance, ZOLL; AtriCure and Benemax, among others.
She has also worked with several geriatric service providers and medical practices, and companies in the technology and education industries. Under Edna’s leadership, KOGS has won numerous top industry awards including the Public Relations Society of America’s top national honors, the Silver Anvil and the PRSA Silver Anvil Award of Excellence.
Prior to entering the PR field, Edna worked at New York University Medical School’s pharmacology department.
As a Research Associate at Downstate Medical Center, she conducted and published double-blind clinical trials. At American Institutes for Research, she planned and executed various Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded research projects and health campaigns.
Edna holds an MS degree from Boston University’s College of Communications and a BA from Brooklyn College.
